Camp READY!, Camp READY!+, & Camp READY! Special Friends

Camp READY! prepares rising and repeating kindergartners for academic success through hands-on, experiential learning centers (art, music & movement, cooking and reading-readiness) to build pre-reading skills while continuing motor, social and cognitive development.

Camp READY!+ prepares students for the first-grade level focusing on concept and confidence while reteaching and reviewing vocabulary, reading, and math sense.

Camp READY! Special Friends provides readiness skills for our friends with special needs.

Program Goals:

To provide academic enrichment for elementary students during the summer months

Who:

Rising & repeating kindergartners and rising & struggling first graders

Eligible students must be five years old by September 1, 2024.

What:

Camp READY! and Camp READY!+ prepare children for success in school by providing engaging, multi-sensory learning experiences that build language skills

*LRC requires at least 30 students per site.

LRC requires at least 30 students per site.
Scholarships are available for deserving students in need.
To register your child for Camp READY!, Camp READY!+, or Camp READY! Special Friends, please complete the registration form with the non-refundable $25 registration fee.
Students will take a pre- and post-test to measure their growth during camp.
