SAT Prep

SAT Prep provides an efficient and effective 20-hour course designed to help students achieve their best possible score on the exam. This course provides small classes with highly trained teachers, problem-solving strategies for analyzing and answering SAT questions, practice taking the SAT, emphasis on test-taking techniques and strategies specific to the exam that build confidence and reduce test anxiety.

The full course will cover SAT Math and Reading/Writing.

Students will:

Engage in problem-solving strategies for analyzing and answering SAT questions
Reinforce skills through interaction and review
Build confidence and reduce test anxiety through test-taking strategies
Practice taking the exam

To thoroughly prepare high school students to achieve their highest score on the SAT

SAT Prep is designed to assist students in grades 9-12 who are preparing to take the SAT

What:

Math and Reading/Writing will be covered to help all students maximize their learning potential

When & Where:

LRC offers SAT Prep courses throughout the year. During spring and fall, classes are held on Tuesdays (Math) and Thursdays (Reading/Writing) over four consecutive weeks. Tuesdays (Math) & Thursdays (Reading/Writing): 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Thursdays (Reading/Writing): 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1
Test Date: October 3, 2026

October 2026: Oct. 13 – November 5
Tuesdays (Math): 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3
Thursdays (Reading/Writing): 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5
Test Dates: November 7, 2026 and December 5, 2026

February 2027: Feb. 9 – March 4
Tuesdays (Math): 2/9, 216, 2/23, 3/2
Thursdays (Reading/Writing): 2/11/ 2/18, 2/25, 3/4
Test Date: March 6, 2027

April 2027: April 6 – 29
Tuesdays (Math): 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27
Thursdays (Reading/Writing): 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29
Test Date: May 1, 2027 and June 5, 2027

More information: LRC will provide the necessary supplies for this course. The cost of this program also includes an SAT Prep book. Please bring your own laptop.
