Summer Coding & Video Game Design Workshop

Summer Coding & Video Game Design Workshop students will gain experience using the MIT App Inventor and an introduction to code with the popular industry programming language Python. Led by educated STEM instructors, participants will discover the fundamentals of code and use their imagination in game-based learning.

To explore the basics of coding in a fun and friendly environment

Who:

Students entering 6th-7th grade
in the 2023-2024 school year

What:

Students will learn the basics of coding, gain program design experience, practice Python programming language, use imagination in game-based learning and develop skills through interaction and review

This is a small group course open to 8 students.
Please ask about our Sliding Fee Scale based on gross family income.
Scholarships are available to deserving students in need.
