PEP Summer Camp

PEP and Learning Resource Center of Polk County present PEP Summer Camp!

A camp filled with FUN! activities including volcanos, drones, igloos, and MUCH more! Plus, you’ll have a chance to WIN a drone!*

Summer 2024 Registration is Now Open!

Program Goals:

Explore science and the arts through interaction with hands on projects.

Possibilities include:
-Create muddy, slimy hands on fun
-Build structures, bridges, catapults, and rockets
-Navigate with maps and compasses to find treasure and explore the outside world
-Fly drones and compete in the drone hula hoop challege
-Build a vinegar and baking soda powered boat and launch it
-Enjoy a snack and outside sports…and more!

Who:

Students K through 5th grade

Maximum of 40 students

What:

Explore Science and the Arts through interaction with hands on projects.

When:

Weeks 1-8: June 3-July 25
(July 4 Holiday)
Monday-Thursday, 1-4 p.m.
*Select specific or all weeks on registration form

More information: Parents are responsible for arranging transportation, and there is no before or after care. Please be on time!

Positions are limited–first come, first enrolled.
Students can choose to come for one week or all eight weeks
Applications are due on or by Thursday, May 16th.

Cost: This program is specifically designed for underserved students in the Winter Haven area and is generously funded by a community donor.
