Tutor/Teacher/Coach
The Learning Resource Center of Polk County, an academic assistance, nonprofit United Way agency is hiring motivated, high-quality tutors who are passionate and committed to helping all students. LRC students range from five-years-old through adult, needing help and support in myriad subjects– intensive reading and math; all school and college subject fields; test preparation; study skills and time management; certification support.
Tutoring and flexible teaching times can be in-school, after-school, virtual, various public locations, evenings, and weekends. Some positions have discretionary days and times, based on convenience of student and teacher.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Associate’s degree in Education or related field
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
Monthly documentation
Must be energetic and outgoing and love working with children and young adults
