The Learning Resource Center is truly blessed!  Friday, May 18, 2012, LRC received the generous check in the amount of $25,678.75 from the George W. Jenkins Fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland. These grant funds will underwrite LRC’s highly successful Camp READY!’s for rising and struggling kindergartners at the two Lakeland locations for Summer 2012. Approximately 100 students will benefit from this four-week program that provides a proven interactive, energetic learning environment that boosts language development, pre-reading skills, and positive social interactions. Thank you, CFGL and the George W. Jenkins Family!
