Program Goals: The Learning Resource Center offers a 5-hour SAT Strategies course for 7th Graders’ Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP). The SAT Strategies course is designed for high ability students interested in Duke University’s TIP to acquaint students with the SAT test format and types of questions. This course will also provide students with test-taking strategies that build confidence and reduce test anxiety. * Please note that 7th grade students must have scored at the 95th percentile or above on math or verbal achievement, standardized or aptitude tests. Students must register with Duke University to take the test. Contact your school guidance office to obtain a Duke TIP application. For the SAT Strategies Course, you must register through Learning Resource Center. Class size is limited.
